Shop for US Products. Don’t You See What’s Happening! One of the oldest and largest grocery store chains in the S.E. has had to file Chap. 11. Most analysts contend that pressure from Walmart has contributed to it’s demise. There are 79,000 employees who stand to lose their jobs as a result if they do not recover. Walmart can undercut grocery items for all grocery chains in the US because of their enormus purchasing power. Who’s next Publix, Albertsons, Etc. I thought that Walmart opened years ago with the American Flag and US goods as part of their program. Am I wrong? Now with everything coming from China or other Asian Countries how can this be good for the US economy. Walmart has done good by it’s investors, no doubt. However I think something should be done to curb or tarrif foreinn goods to level the playing field. Watch they will be selling cheap foreign autos next. Support your US businesses. Spend a nickle more for that pound of hamburger. Don’t be so cheap as to kill our economy. It’s already in the dumper due to foreign competition. If you like Chinese products then move there.
